Certification typically granted within 4–8 weeks of submission.

Did You Know?

Fast-Track certified companies can have a foreign national employee holding a provisional work permit and ready to start in under 3 hours — application submitted, SIRI appointment booked, permit issued. When speed matters, Denmark delivers.

Work Permit — Job Change
Hiring a candidate already in Denmark on an existing work permit
DKK 3,500
+

What's Included

  • Assessment of eligibility under Pay Limit or Fast-Track scheme
  • Salary compliance check against current scheme thresholds
  • Full application preparation and SIRI submission
  • Advice on the Job Change Rule — when the candidate may legally start and how to manage the transition
  • Case tracking until the new permit is issued

SIRI Government Fee

DKK 6,810 — paid directly to SIRI, separate from Nordic Anchor's fee.

The Job Change Rule

Under SIRI regulations, the candidate may begin working at your company on the same day the new application is submitted — provided they already hold a valid Danish work permit from their previous employer and it has not yet expired. If they start before submitting, or their permit has expired, they must stop work until the new permit is approved.

Important

Do not let the candidate start work before their new permit application is submitted to SIRI — this creates a compliance risk for your company. We will manage the submission as quickly as possible to minimise any gap in their start date.

Work Permit Extension / Renewal
Keep your employee compliant and working without interruption
DKK 3,500
+

What's Included

  • Current permit review — conditions, expiry date, scheme eligibility
  • Salary and job role compliance check for renewal period
  • Gathering and review of all required documents
  • Complete SIRI renewal application preparation & submission on your behalf
  • Coordinating on your behalf any request for further documentation by SIRI
  • Approval notification and next-step guidance for HR

Don't Leave This Late

A permit that lapses means your employee loses their right to work immediately — creating a compliance risk and operational disruption for your team. We recommend starting the renewal process 3 months before expiry. Retainer clients receive automatic expiry tracking and renewal reminders as standard.

Why It's Priced Lower Than a First Permit

The renewal process follows the same SIRI steps as a first application, but without the biometric and overseas processing complexities that often apply when a candidate applies from abroad for the first time.

Accompanying Family Member Permit
Keep your hire's family covered so they can focus on the job
DKK 3,000 / dependent
+

What's Included

  • Eligibility assessment for all accompanying family members
  • Gathering and review of all required documents per dependent
  • Complete SIRI application preparation & submission on your behalf
  • Coordinating on your behalf any request for further documentation by SIRI
  • Family residence card and CPR registration guidance
  • Can be submitted and tracked alongside the employee's work permit application

Why This Matters for Employers

A relocating employee whose family isn't settled is a distracted employee. By handling accompanying permits as part of the onboarding process, you remove a major source of anxiety and signal to your hire that you've thought of everything. It's one of the most impactful things you can do for early retention.

Pricing Structure

  • Single dependent — DKK 3,000
  • Two dependents applying together — DKK 2,000 each
  • Three or more dependents — DKK 5,000 total (capped)

Good to Know

The accompanying spouse receives an automatic right to work in Denmark without needing a separate work permit — a significant benefit that often surprises both HR teams and employees.
